8 Local Ads Available in Germany — everything is free!
Otdam.org is a site where you can give away items you no longer need and find things you want — all for free. Zittau members post new listings every day — don't throw it away, give it away! ✨ Find your new furry friend today — dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, and other pets are waiting for a loving home near you in Germany.
What Zittau residents actually give away for free
Most free ads on Otdam.org fall into two groups: bulky household items that are a hassle to sell for a few dollars, and pets that need a new home right away. A fridge, a sofa, a stack of books, a box of kids' clothes — these move fastest when the owner just wants them gone, not paid for.
If you're planning to rehome a pet, write down its age, temperament, and health history honestly. A dog that's a bit anxious around strangers or a cat that needs a quiet household finds a better match faster when the ad says so upfront, instead of leaving the new owner to find out later.
Before you pick up anything large, message the poster and ask a couple of direct questions about condition — photos taken in poor light hide scratches and stains that become obvious in person.
