Free plants Cebu City: cuttings, seedlings, and full-grown houseplants
Houseplants and seedlings get given away for free most often when a plant has simply outgrown its space, or an owner is sharing cuttings from something they already love — not because the plant is dying. Before repotting anything new, check the roots and leaves for pests or disease so you don't introduce a problem to plants you already have at home.
Free seedlings for a vegetable garden tend to appear seasonally in spring in the Philippines, so that's the best time to watch this category closely if you're planning a garden.
Give a new plant a few days to settle in before repotting after a move — sudden changes in light and humidity stress a plant more than people expect.
Cuttings and young offshoots from houseplants usually take root more easily than a mature transplanted specimen, making them a good option for beginners.
