Free musical instruments Shah Alam: what to check before choosing one
Musical instruments often end up in free Shah Alam listings when a child or an adult gives up lessons — a guitar, keyboard, or violin can sit unused for years in genuinely excellent condition. String instruments are worth checking for cracks in the body and the condition of the strings, since even a hairline crack that's invisible in a photo noticeably changes the sound.
Keyboards and pianos are worth testing across the full range of keys, since individual keys can fail even when the instrument looks fine overall.
Wind instruments need the mouthpiece cleaned thoroughly before a new player uses them in Malaysia, regardless of how clean the instrument looks on the outside.
Acoustic guitars often just need fresh strings and a small tune-up after long storage to sound right again.
