Free pet supplies: crates, scratching posts, and more
A dog crate is one of the most searched-for free pet items, and for good reason — a good one is bulky and expensive new, but barely wears out even with years of use, so secondhand Central Visayas crates are almost always in solid condition. The same goes for cat scratching posts: cats often lose interest after a move or a change in furniture layout, leaving a barely-used post behind.
Check any crate for bent wires or a broken door latch before assuming it's usable — that's the part that fails first, not the frame itself.
Unopened bags of pet food are worth taking if the seal is intact and the expiration date is still well in the future, but open bags are riskier and better skipped.
Carriers, beds, and leashes hold up well over time, making this one of the more reliably good categories for Central Visayas sellers.
